It’s A Long Shot, But We’re Going to Try
Hey Friends!
As you may or may not know, we just got back from our very first Carnival Cruise. It was on the Carnival Horizon and we had the best time ever. While on the Horizon we ended up finding out about Fathom excursions and we tried our very first one. Now I’m forever changed.
You can see our first Fathom trip, The Hands on Chocolate Experience at Chocal here:
This was our first experience with Fathom Travel and Carnival Cruises. It was magic. It was life changing. All we want to do is more. Impact Travel has changed us forever.
If you’ve never heard of Fathom before, it’s cool. We hadn’t either. This is from the Fathom site: Fathom is a travel experience that delivers the best of both worlds – a true vacation and an opportunity to give back.
It’s really so much more than that. The next two comments on the Fathom site really sums it up for me personally:
Travel brings us closer. It’s our first step toward understanding one another and the global challenges we all face.
Take the first step. It’s the one that matters. It moves you closer to others. It brings you closer to yourself. Great things happen the closer we get.
That last statement is no joke. You absolutely become closer to others and yourself after these experiences.
After doing some research we found out that Fathom Travel is doing a sailing on the Royal Princess on November 17th, 2018. This sailing has Fathom excursions for San Juan, Puerto Rico and Amber Cove, Dominican Republic. Two places that are near and dear to our hearts.
We had no idea that this cruise existed. It’s absolutely last minute and very much not in our channel budget. It’s a long shot but we’re hoping to somehow make it on to this trip. By the way, if you have the ability and you’re looking for a trip of a lifetime check out the sailing for yourself. I promise you’ll love it.
The trip costs $2500. So we’re asking our friends and fans to help spread the word. Maybe there’s a few people out there who would toss us a few bucks to make this happen? Maybe there’s a Travel Agent or agency out there who wants to sponsor this trip in exchange for a sponsored by graphic on the beginning and ending of our vlogs? Not sure how to make this happen but I’m determined to try.
Look at all of these amazing humans from a previous Fathom trip:
Anyone who donates to this project will be thanked publicly in the video. (Unless they don’t want to be recognized for their generosity)
We’re not asking you for money, unless you’re currently ‘Scrooge McDucking’ it in your vault and have some spare coin. We’re asking you to help spread the word. (Dats free, yo) We’re looking for people to help us do some good and spread awareness about this amazing organization. I’m currently reaching out to all of my friends, selling anything that isn’t nailed down. We’re trying to make this happen.
If you know someone who would be interested in this sailing for themselves or helping us out, please share this post on all the socials. Thank you!
If you want to help fund this project, THANK YOU! You can donate to our GoFundMe here: https://www.gofundme.com/sean-and-stef-travel
or you can donate to us directly, this is our ‘Travel Fund’ http://paypal.me/seanandstefirl
If you want to donate to us on a regular basis, I SERIOUSLY LOVE YOU, you can check out our Patreon page here: https://www.patreon.com/seanandstefirl
Like I said, it’s a last minute long shot. But some social shares and even a dollar or two could help make this happen. If we don’t reach our goal, we will work towards the next Fathom Excursion.
Thank you for sharing and I truly hope that you’ll consider a Fathom excursion on your next vacation!
