Today is Sean and Stef’s second day in London and they cannot wait to explore the city and meet up with some friends. Sean and Stef leave for the P&O Ventura tomorrow, so today they will see Buckingham Palace, meet up with David from Cruise With Ben and David, see the Tower of London and Piccadilly Circus, really get to know the London Underground and finally the evening ends with a delightful dinner river cruise with Julia the SoloCruiser.

But first, before anything, it’s time for a hearty breakfast and this one is included in their stay. Nothing beats an included breakfast complete with waffles!

After breakfast Sean and Stef head to the Waterloo station where they board the London Underground and travel to Buckingham Palace. After seeing Buckingham Palace, Sean and Stef visit The Queen Victoria Memorial and The Memorial Gardens. After that it’s a quick stop at a souvenir shop to pick up some magnets. Then it’s back on to the London Underground to meet up with David from Cruise with Ben and David for lunch at Wagamama.

After an amazing lunch Sean and Stef go back on to the London Underground and travel to the Tower of London. After seeing the Tower of London, Sean and Stef go back on to the London Underground and travel to Piccadilly Circus. After a brief tour of Piccadilly Circus and the surrounding area, Sean and Stef go back on to the London Underground and travel to Waterloo station. Sean and Stef head back to their hotel, the Hampton by Hilton, London Waterloo and change for dinner.

After a quick shower and change, it’s time for Sean and Stef to go back on to the London Underground and travel to the Embankment Pier where they meet up with Julia, the SoloCruiser.

Dinner is a river dinner cruise on a boat called the Glass Room. Amazing conversation, food, live music, wine and stunning views were had all night as we traveled up and down the Thames. Truly a spectacular dinner cruise with Julia!

Departing from Embankment Pier, Glass Room served a five-course set menu. There is a cocktail bar on board or you can choose from a selected wine list.

After dinner at the Glass Room, Sean and Stef once again traveled on the London Underground back to Waterloo. From there it’s a short 5 minute walk back to their hotel the Hampton by Hilton.

Tomorrow Sean and Stef travel to Southampton where they will join up with the P&O Ventura. This is Sean and Stef’s first cruise with P&O Cruises.
