My Ideal Celebrity Cruises Caribbean Cruise
** Disclaimer ** Before I jump into what would make my ultimate Celebrity Cruise, it’s important to note that this specific blog post is for a contest. I’m entering this article for a chance to be featured on the Celebrity Cruises blog. You know I love to travel. I love to vlog and I write things down, too. I hope I get a shot to be a guest blogger for this amazing cruise line. The contest info can be found here: https://www.celebritycruises.com/blog/guest-travel-blogger-contest
My Ideal Celebrity Caribbean Cruise
My Ideal Celebrity Cruises Caribbean Cruise would include stops in St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. Croix, St. Johns, and Kralendijk. Of course, I hope there would be a sea day or two so I can explore the beautiful Celebrity ship that we’re sailing on!
99 Steps in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
I’d start off my day in Charlotte Amalie with a walk up the famous 99 steps. I love to walk, get fresh air and to explore. From there I’d check out Blackbeard’s Castle, soak up some history and more beautiful views. After the castle tour, I’d head on over to Magen’s Bay for some swimming in crystal blue water with tons of fish and other incredible sea life. Time permitting, I’d end the evening with a Skyride to Paradise Point for a beautiful sunset and amazing shots of the Celebrity ship I’m traveling on.
ATVs in Philipsburg, St. Maarten
St. Maarten is probably my favorite island in the Caribbean. SXM is beautiful. I would spend my day on an ATV exploring Baie Rouge, Friar’s Bay, Orient Bay, Le Galion Beach and of course a mandatory visit to world famous Maho beach. Gotta feed the iguanas while I’m there, too.
Snuba in St. Croix, U.S.V.I.
I’ve always wanted to try Snuba in St. Croix. I want to explore the snorkel trails of the Buck Island Reef National Monument, the Buccaneer on Mermaid Beach and the Palms at Pelican Cove. St. Croix has so many beautiful reefs and underwater havens to explore.
Pizza and Power Snorkeling in St. Johns, Antigua
For me, Antigua is all about the food AND power snorkeling. There is so much amazing cuisine in Antigua, it’s difficult to choose. For me, it’s all about the best pizza in the Caribbean and that’s Big Banana Antigua.
Of course if you’re going to rock the Antigua pizza, you gotta have a local ice cold one to wash it down. NOTHING beats an ice cold Wadadli on a hot summer day.
That’s just the food in Antigua. Let’s not forget about the amazing snorkeling and diving. I LOVE scooter snorkeling in St. Johns.
I love snorkeling and anything that involves being in the ocean. Power snorkeling, or scooter snorkeling takes things up a notch. The best scooter snorkeling in Antigua is in Galleon Beach.
Rejuvenating the Soul in Kralendijk, Bonaire
I love animals and the Earth. Any time I can give back to a world that has shown me so much beauty, sign me up — TWICE. The cool thing about Kralendijk is that you can take part in the Coral Restoration Project at Buddy Dive. You can help plant, cut and clean the coral farm. I’d also head over to the Washington Slagbaai National Park. There is so much to photograph here you could spend a week and not document everything. I don’t know how I’d do it, but I’d want to hike, snorkle, swim, bird watch, explore caves and visit my iguana friends. This would be a busy, soul fulfilling day.
The Perfect Ship for the Perfect Trip
What would take this trip to the next level? Sailing on the Celebrity Equinox, Captained by the one and only AMAZING Captain Kate McCue and the super cool Bugnaked. My wife and I LOVE Gatos and think Captain Kate is the coolest!!
One of our cats watching our travels. “Show me what you did while you were away, hooman.”
It Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This.

So that’s my Ideal Celebrity Cruises Caribbean Cruise. Short of selling all of my worldly possessions and permanently living on a ship, this is my dream itinerary. It would be pure joy to do this Caribbean trip on such a fantastic ship! Thanks for checking out my entry! If you’re interested in my journeys around the world, check out my cruise vlogs here:
